Dplus KIA defeat KT Rolster 3-1 to qualify for Worlds 2026

Days after losing 0-3 to KT Rolster, Dplus KIA have booked their ticket to the 2026 League of Legends World Championship by beating the same opponent 3-1 in the 2026 LCK playoffs. The win lifted DK into the top four and sent KT Rolster to the Demacia Cup Global Invitational. The rematch came after DK nearly got eliminated by BNK FEARX. They fell 0-2 in the previous round, then completed a reverse sweep to reach the decisive match. DK lost game one against KT, but a 42-minute game two changed the series. Thanks to disciplined drafting, DK kept denying KT's preferred picks and won three games in a row. The bottom lane was the biggest anchor. Sin 'Smash' Geum-jae, MVP of the Esports World Cup final, continued to make a difference in the games DK won. Oh 'Career' Hyung-suk regained confidence after game one and combined well with Smash. DK are officially back at Worlds after missing the tournament in 2026. Smash, Career and Jeon 'Siwoo' Si-woo will attend Worlds for the first time. Yet the immediate goal is the LCK 2026 title. ShowMaker's side need three more wins, and their next challenge is T1. If DK keep the form shown against KT, they will be a strong title contender this season.
